Privacy Policy

Short version: your files and text stay on your device. We don't run upload servers, tracking cookies, or ad profiles.

Last updated: October 2026 Zero uploads

1. Our core privacy guarantee

At Toolnova, privacy is not an afterthought; it is our fundamental architectural foundation. We believe that everyday utility software — such as merging PDF documents, compressing photos, formatting JSON, and calculating mortgages — should never require transmitting your personal or business files to remote cloud servers.

2. Zero file upload policy

All media, images, PDF documents, and text entered into Toolnova utilities (with the sole exception of the optional AI Grammar tool) are processed strictly in your local device memory using WebAssembly, HTML5 Canvas, and modern Web APIs.

  • Files never leave your computer, tablet, or phone.
  • We operate no file storage servers, databases, or temporary upload buckets.
  • Your files and data are destroyed from volatile memory the moment you close the browser tab.

3. AI Grammar Checker & edge processing

Tool 15 (AI Grammar Checker) tries a stateless AI endpoint first. When one is configured, up to 3,000 characters of text travel over encrypted TLS to a Cloudflare Edge Worker that validates Origin, rate limits per IP, calls the language model, and returns the result without storing or training on your prompts. When no endpoint is configured, as on the static deployment, the tool falls back to a built-in rules engine that runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing at all.

4. Local storage usage

Our Invoice Generator provides an optional "Save Draft" feature. Data is stored solely on your own device using standard browser localStorage. It is never transmitted across the network.

5. Cookies and analytics

Toolnova uses zero tracking cookies, zero third-party advertising cookies, and zero fingerprinting scripts. You will never see an intrusive cookie banner on our website because we collect no personal profiling data.
